If there's one thing that every Zombie related thing has in common is that they all show at least some form of blood and gore. But apparently some people believe that it is not necessary and should not be shown in any graphic manor. I'm here to explain why it is needed:
WHY NOT?
What in the world do people think zombies want? Our pants? No! They want brains and human flesh and they won't rest until they get what they desire. I guess someone could possibly edit out the attack sequences but that'd just make it boring and lame, and seriously what would be the point in that anyways???
MESSY WILL BE MESSY
Have you ever seen a zombie? Some actually look like they're eating their own faces. And zombies don't seem to mind when bones and guts are splattered all over the floor and walls, why should we? Don't believe me? Go watch Dead Alive then...
IT'S A SIGN
If you walk outside and you see a trail of blood across the ground, you should probably run cause there might be a freakin zombie runnin around your yard. It could also be a good sign too, you walk in a room and it's drenched in blood which is good because that means the zombie has already gone through here and chances are it won't come back. (unless for some reason it likes to roll around in blood like a pig in mud)
CARNAGE IS BEAUTIFUL
As crazy as it sounds, some actually think that gore is pretty. Most movie directors actually want to use blood because it uplifts, colors, and intensifies the scenes. So maybe you'll be attracted to blood, as long as it's not a "my friend bleeding is sexy" kinda way.
So to close, is blood and gore really all that bad? -Tom West
